For 3 years we would meet and pray together, read the Bible, share testimonies, and vent. Yes we vent, marriage isn’t always easy and sometimes you need encouragement from other married women. Wives Who Pray has become a sisterhood, where we work on deepening our relationship with Christ, as well as building up our marriage. We desire to be better Women, better Wives, and better Christians.
It’s important in a marriage for both the husband and wife to have a strong sense of Faith In God, and to always choose to put HIM first. Prayer in marriage is an essential part of keeping God first. We will still come across struggles in our marriage however FAITH will keep us centered.
My name is Shakeena Way and I have been married for 5 years. I have learned and loved so much through the years. I’m still learning new things about life, my husband, and of course myself. I’ve always wanted to have a group of wives come together to focus on God, Marriage, and Womanhood. Marriage can be tough at times, and I know that the enemy does not want us to win. God says when two or more are gathered then HE is present, so what better way to strengthen marriages than to form bonds with other married women and pray for one another. Wives Who Pray is a Sisterhood, a safe place to discuss marriage as well as anything else revolving around marriage and our everyday lives. We thrive on Respect, Love, Support, and Prayer. I am forever grateful that God has placed this vision inside of me. He will always get the Glory!

My name is India, I've been married for four years and I joined Wive Who Pray back in 2015. Being a part of this group has allowed me to learn that no marriage is perfect, it has also allowed me to open up to other married women about things that I may not have felt comfortable with talking about to people that aren’t married more so because they are able to relate. This group has helped me grow in my role as a wife, opened my eyes to new ways of doing things in my marriage, has helped with the communication within my marriage and most of all it has helped strengthen/uplift me as a wife. I am so grateful to be apart of Wive Who Pray and to have gained 4 friends along the way.
Hello , My Name is Keisha Webb. I am a fiancé, a new mother to a beautiful baby girl & a nurse by profession . I was invited to join Wives who pray when it began in 2015 by my best friend Althea. This group has helped me gain a closer Love & Understanding in my relationship with God , myself & my Fiancé. At the time we started , we all were facing different trials & transitions but no matter where we were, this group prayed for each other & gave each other the strength to endure. We’ve continuously supported & uplifted one another and I am forever grateful for the genuine bond & friendships that we now have. Something I will truly cherish for a lifetime.
